About the Artists
Daniel Ihasz, baritone
Lyric Baritone Daniel Ihasz earned a Master of Music degree in Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music, along with the prestigious Performer’s Certificate. Since 1992, he has been a member of the voice faculty at the State University of New York at Fredonia where he is currently Full Professor.

Anthony Panella, narrator
Anthony Panella was named superintendent of the Amherst Central School District on April 6, 2016. This follows a distinguished career as a social studies teacher in Amherst, Akron Central Middle School Principal, Assistant Principal at Starpoint Middle School and several leadership roles along the way.

Lucas Castelo Barnum, boy soprano
Treble (boy soprano) Lucas Castelo Barnum has been singing with the St. Paul’s Cathedral Choir, directed by Jonathan Scarozza, since 2015 and is currently in 6th grade at City Honors School in Buffalo. He has performed as a member of the chorus in the Buffalo Chamber Player’s 2015 production of John Blow’s Venus and Adonis and in Buffalo Opera Unlimited’s 2016 production of Humperdink’s Hansel and Gretel.
