Thank You for Your Support

Thank you for your support of the Amherst Symphony Orchestra. Due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and the safety of our musicians and audience, the difficult decision has been made to cancel the orchestra’s Tuesday, August 4th 2020 Summer Concert at Island Park, Williamsville.

During these past few months, while our orchestra has had an intermission, we have been busy planning promotions to celebrate our 75th Season this Summer in ways that are colorful, informative, and community minded.

· Thirty-eight lamp post pole banners will be hanging along Main St., Williamsville, from South High School to North Union Rd. In regal purple and gold, Amherst Symphony Orchestra celebrates its message of 75 years as part of the Williamsville/Amherst community.

· The Summer issue of WNY Heritage magazine will contain a 3,000-word centerfold article with images about the history of the Amherst Symphony. Look for a past ASO Concert Program with student art on the cover of the magazine..

· The Amherst Symphony will participate in the designing and painting of a traffic signal box in the Town of Amherst. Our 75th celebration message will be located at MacArthur and Maple Roads, at the entrance/exit of Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital..

We continue to plan for the future when the orchestra and community can make music together !
